A museum for
imagined futures.
Spinstar is a digital gallery devoted to the visual language of space-age toys: polished metal, bright paint, simple mechanisms, and the feeling that tomorrow might fit in your palm.
Play is a form of design research.
These objects are small, but their ideas are not. A rocket suggests a destination. A robot suggests a personality. An astronaut makes room for a new point of view.
Spinstar looks at toys as miniature design objects and invitations to imagine. The gallery brings together vintage space toys, miniature rockets, tin robots, astronaut figures, and other retro-futuristic curiosities.
We are interested in the details that make an object memorable: a painted control panel, a wind-up key, a slightly off-center antenna, or the colors chosen to make a toy feel like it has already traveled somewhere.
This is a digital gallery, designed to be browsed slowly — only objects, observations, and a little room for wonder.
